He is an actor, film producer, and a writer, best known for having starred as Reese in the comedy series “Malcolm in the Middle” which aired from 2000 to 2006 – it also starred Frankie Muniz and Bryan Cranston, and follows a teenager who is being raised in a rather strange family.

Justin was raised in Agoura Hills alongside his older brother Lorne by their father Eric ‘Rick Berfield who was a real estate agent, and their mother Gail who was a teacher.

Lorne has also become an actor and is known for appearing in the comedy series “Evening Shade” in 1990, the action drama show “Double Blast” in 1994, and the comedy series “Someone Like Me” in 1994 as well.

Justin became interested in acting after he saw Lorne appear in several series as well as in his school plays, and decided to try and become an actor.
