Katherine was born on December 31st, 1954, in Yonkers, New York, to her parents, the late Arlene M. Davies and David J. Davies, Sr. Her journey through life was one marked by dedication to her family, a passion for nursing, and a profound commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

A graduate of Trinity High School in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, in 1973, Katherine embarked on a path of academic excellence that would lay the foundation for her life’s work. She pursued her love of nursing at College Misericordia, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 1977. But her thirst for knowledge and her desire to serve her community didn’t stop there. She went on to attain her Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN/FNP) degree from Widener University in 2003, demonstrating her unwavering dedication to her profession and her commitment to improving the lives of those she cared for.

Katherine’s career in nursing was a testament to her resilience and unwavering spirit. Before she embarked on her journey as a nurse practitioner, she was a successful staff nurse and teacher. However, her path as a full-time mother to four boys stands as one of her most significant roles. She approached motherhood with the same passion and determination she displayed in her professional life, nurturing her children and guiding them to become the remarkable individuals they are today.
