In the Peacock documentary series “Dangerous Breed: Crime. Con. Cats,” Samantha Fiddler, an ambitious wrestler who formerly dated Teddy Hart, mysteriously vanished.
Samantha Fiddler’s family has been looking for information regarding her whereabouts for six years.

After moving to Florida to seek a career in professional wrestling on the recommendation of her ex-boyfriend and wrestler Teddy Hart, the mother of three went missing in the fall of 2016. Samantha had three children back in Canada, but she was determined to make a reputation for herself and made a commitment to her family that she would come back after her training was complete.

However, she stopped returning their calls and texts one day. Days stretched into weeks, and weeks into months, and April Fiddler, her sister, started to worry about Samantha, who had been highly active on social media before she vanished.

In the Peacock documentary “Dangerous Breed: Crime. Cons. Cats.,” April claimed that her sister’s lack of communication raised red flags.

We came so close, April said. She would have found a way to contact me. She wouldn’t have abandoned her daughters.

According to “Dangerous Breed,” Samantha was last seen alive in the early hours of Nov. 19, 2016, following her release from the Polk County Jail in Bartow, Florida, where she had been detained on trespassing charges.

In January 2017, according to April’s account in “Dangerous Breed,” she made contact with Florida and Canadian authorities to report a missing individual. However, there were insufficient leads regarding her whereabouts, so the investigation was unsuccessful.

As more time went by, rumors of Samantha’s absence circulated among her friends and throughout the wrestling world.

April claimed that during this time, Teddy Hart, Samantha’s ex, informed her he didn’t know where Samantha was and that he wasn’t present when she was last seen alive.

Then, in a June 2020 Twitter post, Machiko, Hart’s ex-girlfriend, accused him of sexual harassment and violence. She also indicated that Hart had “taken Samantha Fiddler to Florida.”

Since then, Samantha’s missing persons investigation has been taken over by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (F.D.L.E.). (A F.D.L.E. representative verified the investigation into Samantha’s missing persons case is “active” in an email to Oxygen.com.)

Call F.D.L.E. Tampa at (800) 226-1140 if you have any information regarding Samantha Fiddler’s whereabouts.
